The Youth Ministry of FBC is committed to assisting the home in raising the next generation to be disciples of Jesus Christ.
Our Youth Ministry holds 3 core values that shape all that we do:
- God’s Word- First and foremost, we are driven by the truth of the Bible to lead and guide teenagers to God. It is the supreme authority of all that we teach. (Deut 8:3, 2 Tim 3:16-17, Heb 4:12)
- Christian Community- We strive for a gospel-centered community that displays God’s love for one another, points others to Jesus, and offers forgiveness when necessary. (1 Jn 3:11, Heb 12:1-2, Eph 4:32)
- Family Equipping- God has designed the home to be the primary means of discipleship, so our responsibility is to build upon that foundation of discipling teenagers while also equipping and encouraging parents in this great task. (Deut 6:4-9, Ps 78:4-8, Eph 6:4)
